Meet the Volunteers

Get to know some of our CASAs

Our advocates are tremendously dedicated to ensuring that every child in our network receives the care they deserve.

Becoming an advocate is an amazing responsibility, so we believe it’s best to learn about the responsibility and the impact directly from some of our volunteers.

What is a CASA?

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. CASAs are volunteers of all backgrounds who make a commitment to advocate for the needs of the child or sibling group with whom they are matched.

How will you help?

For every child who needs us, New Mexico Kids Matter envisions a trained volunteer advocate, a safe home, and a promising future.

CASA is not your typical volunteer role.

That’s okay.
We’re not looking for typical volunteers!
